Swimming

I love the water.

I do not swim competitively. Nor do I swim very well. But I can stay afloat and move from one spot to another.

But I still love the water.

I love the power.

I love the calmness.

And the best of all, when you have your head inside the water, the chaos of the world is shut out.

When you swim, it is just you and your thoughts - propelling you forward, telling you what you can be and do.

I recently watched a very inspiring video on how open water swimming helped build resilience.

Although I have yet to be able to swim so well (or maybe never will I) - but I agree with Bhakti Sharma, a record-breaking Indian open water swimmer said about swimming.

I hope that one day, through this activity, we too, can come to know ourselves in ways we could have never expected to. To also be strong and dedicated. To also be : RESILIENT
