Was browsing Facebook and came across a post regarding a restaurant in SS2 called "my Toast and Roast". What caught my eye about the story was that the char siew and family feud (well, who doesn't like a good gossip")
Coincidently, I had some errands to run at SS2. So, one thing leads to another, I needed some food and remembered this post.
Verdict:
Ordered the Hakka Noodles with Char Siew - signature dish.
Food was average. The only noteworthy was the char siew -which has this 'melt-in-your-mouth' capability. However, there are other shops with this type of char siew as well. Noodle was oily. Ordered sides of fried Wan Tan - 6 pieces. They were tiny. Also ordered pork ball soup. Another disappointment. Soup was plain. Balls were normal. Tasted like they were store bought.
Been there once. See no reason to return.
